Cincinnati Opera’s 100th Anniversary Season includes the rarely-performed 1901 gem Rusalka, a beautiful and tragic tale by Czech composer Antonín Dvořák. Evans Mirageas explores the influence Bohemian folk music played on Dvořák’s work. Hear excerpts from Rusalka performed by live singers, including the heartbreaking “Song to the Moon,” and other pieces by Dvořák performed by members of the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra.
