We’re a vibrant community of arts lovers ages 21–40 who are passionate about great opera, great people, and great art in the Greater Cincinnati region. Together, we’re building the next generation of opera lovers, one aria at a time.
Whether you’re already hooked on opera or you’re opera-curious and ready for something new, Cincinnati Opera Young Professionals (COYP) brings you closer to this magical art form through unforgettable experiences—from live music over drinks to party fundraisers, creative collaborations, and exclusive behind-the-scenes opportunities.
What We Do
All ages are welcome to these engaging and fun opera-inspired programs throughout the year. Some raise funds, some raise awareness, but all raise spirits and connect arts lovers and enthusiasts to one another.
Our annual friend-raiser and party, where music, fashion, and art collide in a radiant expression of creativity and community, raising funds for Cincinnati Opera.
Intimate performances from Cincinnati Opera artists at local hotspots. Think opera up close, cocktails in hand, and new friends all around.
Our season kickoff party celebrating opera divas and the hidden gems of the opera season! Join us for an exclusive backstage experience.
yp nights at the opera
Each season, select performances are designated as YP Nights at the Opera. What makes them special? You can meet up with other YPs before and after the show to mix, mingle, compare notes on the performance, and learn more about COYP. Anyone age 40 and under can save 15% off ticket prices on YP Nights! Discount is available beginning the week of the show during the 2026 Summer Festival.
